Invitation for Bids – #LB 25-006 Environmental Abatement & Disposal of Asbestos and Hazardous Materials & Demolition and Disposal of Residential and Commercial Structures in Genesee County Michigan, Sealed Proposals will be received by the Genesee County Land Bank Authority (GCLBA) for abatement and demolition of residential and commercial structures in Flint and Genesee County. Proposals will be received from pre-qualified contractors on GCLBA’s Bidder’s List at GCLBA main office located at 452 S. Saginaw St, 2nd Floor, Flint, MI 48502, until 3:00 pm on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Envelopes must be sealed and clearly marked with the bid number. On these 6 properties, bid for demolition as though demolishing these properties with asbestos in place. If determined to be feasible projects after survey is complete, abatement will be authorized per the Non-scope unit pricing as applicable. If to be demolished and disposed of as non-contaminated waste, a deduct will processed in the amount of item #73 from the Non-scope Add/Deduct. Non-scope pricing will be considered in bid award. 3. If the survey contains hazardous materials and/or asbestos that was identified in accessible areas, add pricing to the corresponding columns.
Q: In list 1, #23 has no address for the garage listed on Concord St. A: #23 on list 1 does not have a street address, only a parcel ID number. There is a map showing the location of the property in the 25-006-1 maps folder.
