A herd of goats is working in Flint – and they’re on a mission – to devour Buckthorn, an aggressive invasive plant that overtakes properties. For centuries, goats have been used for vegetation control around the world. A grant from the Saginaw Bay Watershed Initiative Network, supported by The Conservation Fund and its funding organizations, is making this first-of-its-kind effort in our city possible.
