The Land Bank is proud to announce that the former James Lumber Yard in Flint, a previously abandoned lumber yard on the south side, is being transformed into a new central hub for Land Bank maintenance crews. The lumber yard operated from 1938 to the 2000s. The Land Bank has cleaned up the property and we're refurbishing a 4,000 square foot pole barn for our maintenance crews' day to day operations. These are the folks who maintain properties across the county. The new space will feature a mechanic's shop and storage areas and will help make our operations more efficient for the entire community. Click the video player to learn more.
