This Request for Proposals is being issued by the Genesee County Land Bank Authority (GCLBA) in its capacity as manager of the Hardest Hit Fund (HHF) Blight Elimination Program Demolition Funding. GCLBA invites the submission of proposals from licensed demolition contractors with asbestos abatement certification/license for the Demolition and Disposal of Residential Structures in the City of Flint & Genesee County.

Incomplete proposals and those received after the deadline will not be considered. A public bid opening will be held immediately after the deadline.

LB19-014-2 ‐ 719 ADDISON ST - Abatement Detail

The property was originally listed as a vacant lot with debris pile containing building materials including plaster, fiberglass, fibrous paper.

Corrected:

The house is burnt to the foundation and the garage is partially collapsed and ACM was discovered in the debris pile. (20 Sq Ft tan terrazzo linoleum tile)

The corrected survey has been uploaded to box.com

Lead Abatement of Tax Foreclosed Homes in Flint, Michigan

Request for Proposals –#LB 19-007 Lead Abatement of Tax Foreclosed Homes in Flint, Michigan is being issued by the Genesee County Land Bank Authority (GCLBA).

GCLBA invites the submission of proposals from contractors experienced and licensed to conduct lead abatement and renovation activities at residential structures located in Genesee County. Sealed bids are due no later than 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 to the Genesee County Land Bank, 452 S. Saginaw St, 2nd Floor, Flint, MI 48502, envelopes must be sealed and clearly marked with the bid number.

A mandatory prebid walkthrough will be held on site Friday, March 29, 2019 at specific times for the sites listed within the bid between 11:00 am and 2:45 pm.

The bid documents can be found at www.thelandbank.org under the tab “Current Bids”. Incomplete proposals, those received after the deadline and will not be considered. A public bid opening will be held immediately after the deadline.

The GCLBA reserves the right to waive any informality in any bid, to reject any or all bids, omit bid items, negotiate any part of the bid, or accept any bid that is considered most favorable to GCLBA. Bidders can access technical specifications and reports prepared for the projects via the links supplied in Appendix 1 at www.box.com. RFP responses must be submitted both via hard copy and electronic copy. Each respondent shall submit one (1) original, one (1) additional copy of application and one flash drive containing a PDF copy. Respondent is responsible for labelling the exterior of the sealed envelope containing the proposal response with the proposal number, proposal name, proposal due date and time, and your firm’s name.

Please note that an ad was published in the Flint Journal on Sunday, March 10, 2019 with an incorrect walkthrough and due date listed. A correction will be issued.
