The Land Bank invested $x in demolishing and rehabilitating tax-foreclosed houses in Genesee County through the federal Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP).
The Land Bank partnered with the City of Flint, the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA), and the Genesee County Metropolitan Planning Commission (GCMPC) to invest NSP funding into our community. NSP is a program of the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The purpose of NSP is to stabilize neighborhoods through the purchase of foreclosed homes. Funding was used in Genesee County to rehabilitate and demolish foreclosed houses.
