Starting the week of May 25th, the Land Bank will be showing houses in the Featured Home program in a modified fashion. In order to remain compliant with Governor Whitmer’s Executive Order 2020-77, all Featured Home showings will be conducted by appointment only. The Land Bank will schedule houses to be shown on a specific day. Please call the office at (810) 257-3088 ext 2 or e-mail email@example.com to schedule your appointment. Appointments will be scheduled in 20 minute increments. If you don’t have an appointment, you will not be permitted to view the house.
When you show up to your appointment, please remain in your vehicle until your scheduled appointment time. At your appointment time, please wear a mask covering your nose and mouth then show the Land Bank employee your identification so that they can sign you in. Once you have signed in you may view the house. After you view the property, if you decide you are interested in making an offer on the house, the Land Bank employee will have an offer sheet. You can also find the offer sheet on our website, www.thelandbank.org/featured_homes.asp.
The Land Bank office is still closed to the public; however, offers may be dropped in a drop box on the first floor of the Land Bank building, faxed to 810-257-3090, or e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org prior to the offer deadline. Please make sure all supporting documents, as required on the offer sheet, are included with your offer; incomplete offers will not be reviewed. Please feel free to contact the office prior to the offer deadline to make sure all necessary documentation has been received.
We appreciate your assistance and understanding during these unprecedented times. Stay Safe.
Based on the Executive Order from the Governor, our Featured Home program will be resuming the week of May 25th in a modified fashion.
