The Genesee County Land Bank office is currently open by appointment only to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Staff will be working and able to assist you by phone and e-mail. Please call the office (810) 257-3088 between 9 am and 4 pm Monday –Friday with any questions you may have or to schedule an appointment. 

If you have a payment due, please mail it in to 452 S Saginaw St, Floor 2, Flint, MI 48502 or use the locked drop box in our lobby.  Please ensure the address or parcel identification number is referenced on your check or envelope.

Modifications to the Featured Homes Program to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19

All Featured Home showings are now by appointment only on designated days to prevent the spread of COVID-19.  Please call the office at (810) 257-3088 ext. 2 or e-mail offers@thelandbank.org to schedule your appointment.  Appointments will be scheduled in 20 minute increments.  You will not be permitted to see the home without an appointment.

When you show up to your appointment, please remain in your vehicle until your scheduled appointment time.  At your scheduled appointment time, please wear a mask covering your nose and mouth, maintain 6 feet from others, and show the Land Bank employee your identification & they will sign you in to view the house.  If you are interested in making an offer after viewing, offer sheets are available upon request at showings or go to http://www.thelandbank.org/downloads/highest_and_best_offer_featured_homes_rev.pdf.

The Land Bank office remains closed to the public.

Complete offers, including all supporting documents, may be left in the drop box on the first floor of the Land Bank building or e-mailed to offers@thelandbank.org prior to the offer deadline.  We are not able to review incomplete offers nor are we able to review an offer if you have not visited the house.  Please feel free to contact the office prior to the offer deadline to make sure all necessary documentation has been received.

Modifications to the Skip-a-Payment Option due to COVID-19

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, the Land Bank is allowing an additional Skip-A-Payment for the month of May or June.  If you are current on your land contract and have been financially affected by the COVID-19 virus, you may qualify for a Skip-A-Payment for the month of May or June.  Please sign and submit this form by mail, fax, or in the payment drop box as soon as possible. Late fees for the month of May will be waived.
