On behalf of the Genesee County Land Bank Authority, we are pleased to share our results from the 2020 Fiscal Year (October 1, 2019-September 30, 2020). The Covid-19 pandemic has created challenges and losses that we could not have imagined just over a year ago. Despite the challenges, we have achieved many important successes.

Durant Turri Mott Vision Project

 

The Land Bank underwent a nine-month planning process with neighborhood residents, working area professionals, and local organizations in the Durant Tuuri Mott target area to identify potential reuses for vacant land. Almost 100 people were engaged throughout the planning process. Click here to learn more.  

MISSION

The Land Bank's mission is to restore value to the community by acquiring, developing and selling vacant and abandoned properties in cooperation with stakeholders who value responsible land ownership.
