Housing Renovations

Home > What We Do > Housing Renovations

Because our inventory consists of tax-foreclosed properties, most of the houses we receive are vacant and even blighted.

We do not renovate many of our houses because the cost of renovating a house is often greater than its potential sale price. However, we renovate houses when we have the funding to do so. Over the years we have renovated hundreds of houses throughout Flint and Genesee County.

Currently, we have a limited number of homes for sale in the City of Flint and throughout Genesee County that are part of the Neighborhood Stabilization Program. This program is designed to help remove blight from neighborhoods in need and restore value to the homes in that area. For more information and to see homes availale through this funding please see our Featured Homes page.
