The Land Bank secures vacant properties by boarding windows and doors.

Non-secured vacant buildings pose an even greater risk to neighbors and neighborhoods. Therefore, our Blight Management crews respond to complaints by installing plywood boards on open doors and windows of vacant houses and commercial buildings when possible. We also make every effort to supply boards to community-based groups that want to secure vacant buildings in their neighborhoods. Click here to report a vacant building that is in need of securing.

The Land Bank's mission is to restore value to the community by acquiring, developing and selling vacant and abandoned properties in cooperation with stakeholders who value responsible land ownership.

The Land Bank will be closed the following days:

  • Friday, December 14th at                12:45 pm (updated)

  • Monday, December 24th - Tuesday, December 25th

  • Monday, December 31st - Tuesday, January 1st
